iPhone & iPad
Use this step-by-step guide to configure your BeeProxy Residential Proxy on an iOS device.
iOS only supports HTTP proxies over Wi-Fi networks.
HTTPS and SOCKS5 are not supported, and proxies cannot be used on cellular (mobile) networks.
The screenshots referenced were taken using iOS 16.1
Before You Begin
Make sure you’ve already:
Generated a proxy session
Not sure how? View the proxy setup guide here.
Step-by-Step Configuration
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Locate your active Wi-Fi network and tap the blue “i” (info) icon next to it.
Choose Manual configuration.
Enter Your Proxy Details
Your proxy port (e.g., 17521)
Structured proxy string (see example below)
Your sub-account password
Here’s a sample setup using BeeProxy
Username: useruser123-country-US-ssid-rhdN1907ma
The username includes your proxy targeting settings like country, session ID, etc. For help creating your custom proxy username, refer to this guide.
That’s it! Once saved, your iOS device will start routing internet traffic from this Wi-Fi connection through the proxy server you configured.
