Use these guides below to configure your BeeProxy Residential Proxies for a mobile network using mobile data or a Wi-Fi network on Android.

Before You Begin

Make sure you’ve already:

  • Created a sub-account

  • Generated a proxy session

Using mobile data

NOTE

When using proxies for a mobile network, the connection type can be HTTP only.

Tap your mobile network provider’s settings, scroll to the bottom, and select Access Point Names (APNs).

Choose an APN you’re currently using to configure the Android proxy settings.

Fill in the setup fields as specified below:

Your proxy IP address

Port

Your proxy port (e.g., 17521)

Username

Structured proxy string (see example below)

Password

Your subaccount password

Example Configuration

  • Server: 38.180.149.107

  • Port: 17521

  • Authentication: ON

  • Username: useruser123-country-US-ssid-rhdN1907ma

  • Password: X12345678

NOTE

The username includes your proxy targeting settings like country, session ID, etc. For help creating your custom proxy username, refer to this guide.

Using a Wi-Fi network

Choose your current Wi-Fi network and select the setting icon to access Network details.

Tap the edit button in the top right corner and expand the Advanced options section to configure the Android proxy settings.

Under Proxy, select Manual and enter your proxy details along with the credentials:

Finally, open your web browser, enter previously specified credentials, and press Sign in.

That’s it! You’re now using a Wi-Fi network with a proxy IP address.
